...and this is Dennie the Dachie. As was the case with everyone in 2020, a global pandemic turned peoples lives upside down and the world we once knew, went …very…very quiet!
My dog treat business idea came about during this weird journey we were all forced to go along!
Having just had our lives enriched by the most beautiful Dachshund pup, I thought I would put my spare time into making her natural, healthy treats to help train, reward and well…. just to spoil her because she’s worth it. I loved making them and she LOVED eating them!
I decided to go down the ‘vegan’ route because I wanted to use only the cleanest and most natural of ingredients, that would mean a healthy, guilt free treat for my dog
With my husband’s and daughters’ continual support and encouragement, I found the nerve to put it out to the public to see the reaction. My daughters tutored me on Facebook and Instagram, and my followers and orders steadily increased, as did my motivation to make a go of this! So, between my daughters’ support, my husband, very patiently, building my website, and our gorgeous girl Dennie, being my chief taster and critic… Without all of them, none of this would be happening.
To them and my lovely, loyal customers… I thank you.
